Geometry Dash Wave Demons
“Wave demon” is a practice label, not an official Pointercrate category. The examples below are selected because wave control is a meaningful part of why players discuss them. Their displayed ranks come from the dated Main List snapshot, not from a separate wave ranking.
There is no official wave-only Demon List. This guide uses the current Pointercrate Main List snapshot for rank context, then highlights levels where wave control is a meaningful practice focus. For hands-on practice, use the Geometry Dash Wave Trainer.
IDs, lengths and record links: Pointercrate snapshot 2026-10-17. Section descriptions use the linked community gameplay references; exercises are this site’s suggested practice tasks, not claimed personal clears or CPS requirements. Each entry identifies a movement task; match the ID before applying a suggested section boundary.
Tidal Wave
ID 86407629 · 2m58s · Pointercrate #6
- Long-run wave control
- The repeated wave passages throughout the level.
- Failure to isolate
- A rhythm that is comfortable in one short section can drift when the next passage starts at a different height or after a transition.
- Practice task
- Choose two adjacent wave passages in Practice Mode. First finish each separately; then start before the transition and finish both without adding a checkpoint. Log those two tasks separately, rather than comparing an isolated segment with a full-level run.
Ashley Wave Trials
ID 62912799 · 2m10s · Pointercrate #15
- Wave pacing across a long level
- The opening half-speed wave and the later pace changes.
- Failure to isolate
- Reusing the same press length after a speed change can move the wave away from the intended corridor even if CPS stays similar.
- Practice task
- Mark the first change of pace in the actual level. Practice the wave on both sides, then move the start back before the change. Record whether the first reversal after it is high, low or centered. Keep separate notes for the slow opening and later faster gameplay.
Sakupen Circles
ID 76962930 · 52s · Pointercrate #45
- Dual mini-wave and tight input spacing
- The dual mini-wave passage around 50–66% in the rated Diamond version.
- Failure to isolate
- Treating the short, tightly constrained passage as unrestricted fast clicking hides which press or release fails.
- Practice task
- Use a checkpoint before the dual mini-wave, identify the first failed reversal, and practice through the next safe transition. Repeat from the same checkpoint; once stable, move it earlier to include the entry. Do not substitute the older Nick24 layout or a buffed copy for ID 76962930.
Slaughterhouse
ID 27690100 · 1m03s · Pointercrate #37
- Gravity, size changes and transition control
- River’s wave at about 49–58%, followed by GD Iris’s mixed-mode section.
- Failure to isolate
- The River passage combines tight wave control with size/gravity changes. Increasing click rate alone does not specify the reversal timing through those changes.
- Practice task
- Start immediately before River, and write down the size and gravity at the first failed turn. Practice through the exit, then include the following mini-UFO transition. Count completed segments out of five comparable attempts, rather than interpreting one peak CPS value as readiness.
Defeated Circles
ID 120012581 · 1m01s · Pointercrate #23
- Fast dual-wave changes
- The dual-wave passage around 73–84%, with size and gravity changes before mini-wave spam.
- Failure to isolate
- The movement before the mini-wave spam sets the entry position; practising only the final spam can hide an entry error.
- Practice task
- Begin before the dual-wave passage and practise through its exit. Record whether the first repeated failure occurs at a size/gravity change or in the following mini-wave. After isolating it, restore the earlier start to test the entry.
Ultra Paracosm
ID 138704906 · 1m11s · Pointercrate #17
- Long fast wave passage
- The wave drop around 17–56% in the declanlc and Renn241 Extreme Demon.
- Failure to isolate
- A fixed tapping pattern may fail through the drop’s speed and size changes. This is also a different level from Rulas’s Easy Demon with the same name.
- Practice task
- Confirm ID 138704906, then mark one change within the drop. Practise from before that change to the next safe subsection. Link adjacent subsections only after both are reproducible; record size and speed changes separately from raw input density.
Gameplay references: Slaughterhouse, rated Sakupen Circles and Ashley Wave Trials, Defeated Circles and Ultra Paracosm (declan). Percentages are approximate gameplay markers, not video timestamps. Compare with the current in-game version.
A wave route before Extreme Demons
- Learn direction changes: open the Normal Wave preset here. Finish three runs at one difficulty before trying Mini; return to Normal if the same wall collision repeats.
- Use real game physics: search Ultra Paracosm by Rulas, ID 11588490. Practice its wave passage from a checkpoint and include its entry/exit. This Easy Demon is distinct from the declanlc Extreme Demon above.
- Handle longer circles gameplay: Nine Circles by Zobros, ID 4284013, is a Hard Demon reference. Start with a short wave subsection, then join adjacent subsections. Do not jump to it until the previous task is reproducible.
- Study an advanced target: inspect one of the exact Extreme Demon IDs above. Pick one marked passage; a full clear is not a prerequisite for learning from its video. Browser-preset completion is not proof of readiness for that level.

Geometry Dash Wave Demons FAQ
What are wave demons in Geometry Dash?
Wave demons are an informal player label for Demon levels where wave control is a major execution challenge. Pointercrate does not maintain a separate official wave-only ranking.
Is there an official Geometry Dash wave demon list?
No. Pointercrate ranks Extreme Demons overall. This page uses dated Pointercrate Main List positions only as context for wave-focused practice references.
How should I practice Geometry Dash wave demons?
Start with wider corridors and shorter sections, focus on repeatable press-and-release timing, then add tighter gaps and longer runs. Raw CPS is less useful if the wave path is not stable.
